Job Summary
Major Account Manager responsible for acquiring new business in a defined US territory for Thales Software Monetization, engaging with senior decision-makers at large, complex organizations, and driving revenue through end-to-end sales execution. Core activities include prospecting and lead generation through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking; conducting needs analyses and building business value case proposals; delivering compelling product demonstrations; building and maintaining executive relationships; negotiating terms and closing deals; and collaborating with Sales Engineering, product management, and marketing to ensure a cohesive, win-win sales process. Required skills include B2B software sales experience, ability to navigate multi-level stakeholders, CRM/ERP familiarity, and proficiency with value-based selling frameworks (MEDDIC, Challenger). The role emphasizes strategy development for target accounts, accurate sales forecasting, and consistent achievement of revenue targets across assigned accounts and territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, STEM or related field
- 7 years of B2B software sales experience
- Proven track record of managing a full lifecycle sales process (prospecting to contract closing)
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of API orchestration, SaaS, AI, Data Insights
- Relevant certifications in Opportunity qualification and management frameworks like MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.
