Job Summary
Major Account Manager at Arista Networks focusing on a named list of 15-20 enterprise accounts in the San Francisco area. You’ll implement sales strategies, use a consultative selling approach with key stakeholders (including C-levels), and collaborate with Systems Engineers, Professional Services, and executives to position Arista solutions (Software-Driven Cloud Networking, EOS/Open Source OS, Cognitive Campus Networking, WIFI Campus networking, Cloud Vision, Monitoring Fabric, NDR, Endpoint and AI-driven security). Responsibilities include exceeding sales objectives, developing strategic account plans, conducting demand generation activities, maintaining knowledge of partner solutions and competitive strategies, and building channel relationships. Strong technical acumen in data center networking, SDN, cloud computing, and AI-related accounts, plus a hunter mentality and proven track record in technology sales, are required.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of technology Enterprise sales experience
- Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the greater San Francisco area
- Experience with data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN)
- Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
- Previous selling experience and technical acumen in Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Data Center, Edge Computing, Cloud computing, AI accounts
