Job Summary
Maître d’ at Hawksmoor NY responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences from the first point of contact through seating and beyond. Manages reservation logistics via phone, email, walk-ins, and platforms (OpenTable, SevenRooms); maintains logs with dietary restrictions and special occasions; optimizes seating to maximize capacity and guest satisfaction; coordinates with kitchen and service teams for large parties. Front-of-House duties include greeting guests, assigning and escorting to tables, monitoring dining room activity, and addressing guest concerns. Serves as liaison between guests, servers, and management; oversees training of host/hostess staff; prepares daily reservation and seating reports; ensures ambiance and cleanliness align with venue standards. Working conditions include evening, weekend, and holiday availability; ability to stand for extended periods and manage high guest volumes.
Required Qualifications
