Job Summary
The Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and efficiently running chamfer units, blowout/chopper equipment, and the Mair bundler to ensure consistent production of high-quality tube products. This role involves inspecting tubing for length, gauge, OD/ID, cut quality, straightness, and end condition to meet quality standards. Duties include maintaining a clean work area, preparing hex bundles according to specifications, performing operator TPM checks, and entering data into the ERP system. Candidates should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments with noise and moving mechanical parts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Completion of electrician course, associate degree, or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience.
