Job Summary
Plan and implement plant improvements, then create, schedule, and follow up on maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks in the CMMS. Perform required Preventative Maintenance on equipment according to ISO and electrical standards while troubleshooting and repairing Programmable Logic Controller components. Maintain equipment documentation, including prints and schematics, and manage parts replenishment to minimize production downtime. Adhere to Lock Out/Tag Out programs, NEC/NFPA codes, and explosion-proof safety protocols. Work independently in electrical installations, conduit wiring, and control device usage. This role is a fully onsite, 1st Shift position at Regal Rexnord's Cleveland office, offering a starting pay of $26.00–$33.00/hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Three-Five years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to associates of the organization
- Experience in the use of care of a variety of tools, equipment, and machines
- Working knowledge of all the construction trades
- Working knowledge of electrical wiring
- Working knowledge of electronic controls
- Troubleshooting of PLC's
- Machining
- Plumbing
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatic systems
- General understanding and hands on experience with explosion proof and intrinsically safe work environments
- Knowledge of applicable NEC and NFPA codes
- Proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices

Desired Qualifications
- Must be able to read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics and document all self-created changes
- Must be able to perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as required by PM Program within the guidelines of ISO standards and electrical standards
- Must be able to work independently in troubleshooting and repair problems with Programmable Logic Controllers and related components when required
- Must maintain required documentation and files for equipment
- Must maintain the parts and material replenishment process for equipment repaid in order to reduce/minimized down time of productions
- Must be able to create, schedule, and follow up maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) work orders in CMMS (MP2)
- Must be able to assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
