Job Summary
Maintenance Mechanic performing multi-skilled industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including pump repair, welding, basic electricity, and pipefitting; reads and follows SOPs, manuals, and diagrams; ensures safety and environmental compliance; may handle hazardous waste shipments; collaborates with supervisors, planners, and other teams; uses hand and power tools, precision instruments, and is involved in preventive maintenance planning; experience in chemical or petrochemical plants preferred; requires 3-5 years of applicable maintenance experience and high school-equivalent education; starting pay is $25/hour with eligibility for incentive programs; location is Englewood, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High School education (equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience in a related field
- Experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment (chemical or petrochemical preferred)
- Proficiency in pump repair, welding, basic electricity, and pipefitting
- Ability to read SOPs and work with maintenance planning/scheduling
- Safety and environmental compliance knowledge (OSHA, regulatory permits)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team
- Experience with time entry in systems (e.g., Workday) and coordination with maintenance/planner
