Job Summary
Schedule, coordinate, and perform routine custodial maintenance for assigned facilities. Respond to service requests, manage furniture setup for campus events, and troubleshoot minor plumbing and electrical issues. Operate power equipment including riding lawnmowers, floor buffers, and pressure washers while assisting with landscaping and preventative maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe environment by replacing lighting accessories and following budgeting policies. Requires one year of maintenance experience, high school graduation, and completion of CPR, First Aid, AED, and child abuse prevention training within 60 days. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year work experience as a maintenance employee
- High School Graduate
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AED certification
- Oxygen certification
- Child Abuse Prevention training
- Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Sexual Harassment training
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted)
- Work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, and noise
- Routinely required to work under inclement weather conditions
