Maintenance Working Foreman

Job Summary
Plan and perform maintenance work to plant safety and food safety standards, including welding, cutting, fitting repairs, and troubleshooting issues. Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks while managing mechanical and electrical breakdowns, ensuring adherence to preventative maintenance plans and updating the job card system. Coordinate energy efficiency tracking, manage critical spare parts inventory, and consult with production managers to minimize downtime. Conduct daily inspections of plant components, power factor units, and dust, air, and water leakage to ensure compliance with FSSC standards and internal policies. Afterhours standby and callout required.
Required Qualifications
- Red Seal Millwright trade test Certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience gained in a FMCG / Manufacturing
- Supervisor course qualification (6-month refresher course) including HR / IR Course How to delegate, communicate, motivate and discipline
- 3 years managing or supervising a team
- First Aid / Fire Fighting formal training (Certificate) up to date
- OHS Safety Rep (formal training) up to date
- Dryer / Heater bank system training
- Fault Finding Electrical and mechanical schematic
Desired Qualifications
- Instrumentation / SCADA Systems/ PLC / HMI / High Voltage Switching Experience (optional but preferred)
- Knowledge of plant automation operations
- FSSC training (optional but preferred)
