Job Summary

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on campground facilities, including restrooms, showers, cabins, and common areas. Maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, while conducting regular inspections to identify and address issues. Empty septic tanks, perform pool maintenance, and handle groundskeeping duties like mowing and landscaping. Respond promptly to guest and staff requests, operate equipment safely, and assist with event setup and camper site preparation. Collaborate with the Maintenance Lead to prioritize tasks and manage inventory. Work full-time seasonal hours from May to October, including weekends and evenings, in both indoor and outdoor environments subject to seasonal weather.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to operate maintenance and groundskeeping equipment and tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-secondary technical training or certification in facilities maintenance, HVAC, plumbing or electrical systems, groundskeeping or landscaping or carpentry, considered an asset
  • 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field, considered an asset
