Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas including floor care, bathroom sanitation, trash removal, and window wiping. Perform minor repairs, manage building exterior grounds, and handle snow and ice removal. Assist with special events setup, move program supplies, and prepare apartments for turnover following move outs. Order cleaning and paper supplies while maintaining biweekly inventory. Comply with all employee policies and assist with emergencies. Wear a clean maintenance uniform and attend staff meetings and trainings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of maintenance & cleaning experience in a large residential or Program setting.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills.
- Must wear SUS maintenance uniform and must maintain uniform so that it is clean and presentable at the start of each shift.
- Willing to assist when EMERGENCIES arise in the Facility
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.
- Beneficial for candidate to have experience working within a Supportive Housing setting.
