Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness in assigned facility areas, including floor care, bathroom sanitation, trash management, and window/wall cleaning. Perform minor repairs, manage exterior snow/ice removal, and oversee landscaping. Assist staff with special events setup, move and store program and resident supplies, and prepare apartments for turnover via plastering, sanding, and painting. Order cleaning and paper supplies while maintaining biweekly inventory. Wear a clean, presentable maintenance uniform and comply with all employee policies. Willing to assist during emergencies and attend staff meetings or trainings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of maintenance & cleaning experience in a large residential or Program setting
- Must possess good interpersonal skills
- Must wear SUS maintenance uniform and must maintain uniform so that it is clean and presentable at the start of each shift
- Willing to assist when EMERGENCIES arise in the Facility
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
- Beneficial for candidate to have experience working within a Supportive Housing setting
