Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Workers perform maintenance, installation, and related activities, including routine carpentry, painting, plastering, minor electrical, and minor plumbing. Key responsibilities include conducting repairs and replacements of plumbing systems, operating and maintaining heating and hot water equipment, performing carpentry activities, assisting with renovation and remodeling, and completing outside grounds maintenance duties. The role requires strong knowledge in building trades methods and safety procedures, as well as the ability to communicate in English. Completion of high school or equivalent and two years of relevant experience is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of full-time experience in general maintenance, renovations, construction, or facilities maintenance
- Possession of a clean valid NYS, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Connecticut Driver's License
- Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to 60 pounds
- Ability to bend and reach
