Job Summary
Maintain equipment, machinery, and the physical structure of the hospital to ensure good repair and working order. Perform general, mechanical, preventive, and routine maintenance and servicing operations in and around facility buildings. Manage upkeep of district grounds, trash disposal, and supply delivery via truck. Function as a helper to the Maintenance manager while operating Maintenance Help Desk software. Requires high school diploma, two years of similar experience, and knowledge of electricity and electrical safety. Must follow oral and written directions, work cooperatively with staff, and possess strong English communication and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of previous similar experience
- Knowledgeable about electricity and electrical safety
- Technical skill and knowledge to perform duties
- Ability to follow directions, both oral and written
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members
- Multiple mechanical repair abilities
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong computer knowledge
- Ability to operate the Maintenance Help Desk software
