Maintenance Worker II- Streets

Perform asphalt repairs, patch potholes, level streets and sidewalks, and conduct base failure repairs and overlays in assigned areas. Install, maintain, and repair concrete, signs, grounds, and related items while operating light and medium construction equipment such as backhoes, loaders, trenchers, and chainsaws. Transport supplies to job sites, set up traffic warning devices and barricades, and direct traffic around work zones. Complete logs and reports regarding materials handled and equipment operations, monitor inventory levels, and participate in meetings and training sessions. Respond to emergency operations and on-call situations as needed.
