Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on residential and commercial properties, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems. Develop and prioritize plans for facility enhancements, prepare progress reports, and lead emergency response and disaster recovery efforts. Maintain fire equipment, security alarms, and landscaping solutions while managing office tasks such as mail forwarding, petty cash, and phone inquiries. Schedule work effectively to address tenant concerns and emergencies as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical training in a building trade (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, etc)
- Two (2) years or more in skilled maintenance work
- Must have a physical examination
- TB clearance
- Drug screen
- Immunization records for influenza, pertussis and measles
- Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License
- Daily use of a personal, insured vehicle
- Motor vehicle driving record acceptable to MAAC's insurance carrier
- Current criminal background check clearance
- Signed criminal record statement
- Signed Acknowledgement to Report Child Abuse form
