Part-time Maintenance Worker I - Grounds in Cocoa Beach, FL. Under direct supervision, performs semi-skilled and unskilled work to maintain city grounds, including trash removal in streets, beachside parks, and designated areas. Duties include policing areas for debris, operating landscape equipment (mowers, edgers, tractors), attending to street ends and trash cans, and interacting with city staff and the public in a professional manner. Schedule is Thursday through Monday, 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with potential for overtime during special events or emergencies; may be required to work weekends, holidays, and during declared or undeclared emergencies as assigned by the Department Head.
