Job Summary
Maintenance Worker at Harcros Chemicals responsible for timely repair of plant mechanical systems and performing preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing piping, fittings, valves, pumps, gear reducers, mechanical and gas seals, steam tracing, steam traps, regulators, actuators, backflow preventers, motors, and related equipment; conducting equipment checks, lubrication, diagnostics, and inspections; operating tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, hydraulic bearing presses, and precision measuring instruments; ensuring stock is stored properly and notifying supervision when low; maintaining a safe, clean work environment; performing hot work and vessel-entry permitting; completing required training and adhering to safety policies; additional duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of trade experience or a trade degree, and proficiency in pipefitting, millwright, pneumatics, hydraulics, TIG/MIG/ARC welding; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure varied environmental conditions.
