Job Summary
Maintain and repair agency buildings and equipment by performing basic trade work such as wall repair, lock replacement, and plumbing. Inspect facilities to identify repair needs, troubleshoot issues, and order supplies while maintaining records of all work and inspections. Conduct preventive maintenance including seasonal snow removal and relocate furniture safely. Ensure work-related safety procedures are followed and report unsafe acts immediately. This role requires a high school diploma, NYS driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must pass a fingerprint/criminal background check due to unsupervised contact with campus users.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid and qualified NYS driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including, but not limited to, lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to successfully complete fingerprint/criminal background check
