Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, grounds, and facilities. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records of work orders. Assist with painting, landscaping, and general facility upkeep while following all safety policies. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center's efficient operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work as required
- Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and find effective solutions
- Good communication and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of previous maintenance, repair, construction, or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with common hand tools and power tools
