Job Summary
Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors; dust and polish woodwork, fixtures, and equipment; clean windows and walls; vacuum and spot clean carpets and upholstery; maintain restroom supplies; empty waste receptacles; and pick up trash from grounds. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, two years of janitorial experience, and a valid driver's license. The position involves prolonged standing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and working afternoon/evening shifts five days a week. Candidates must possess Act 31, Act 126, Act 114, and Act 33 clearances.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
- minimum of two years janitorial experience
- Detail-oriented and professional
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of power tools
- Proactive and takes the initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, including delegation of tasks when appropriate

- Act 31/Act 126 Clearance Mandated Reporter Training
- Act 34 Clearance Pennsylvania State Police Background Check (Criminal History)
- Act 114 Clearance FBI Fingerprint
- Act 33 Clearance Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, and reaching
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 100 lbs. without assistance
- Afternoon/evening hours five (5) days per week
- Three or four-hour shifts, depending on building needs
