Job Summary
Maintenance Worker 1 performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision. Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance programs, assisting on fabrication or construction projects, performing corrective maintenance on plant equipment, greasing and oiling, replacing parts (gearbox rebuild, piping, packing, pumps), welding with cutting torch and stick welder, electrical work including rewiring motors, maintaining a clean work area, following safety rules and participating in safety meetings, and other duties as assigned.
