Job Summary
Maintenance Worker for Milwaukee County's Community Reintegration Center (CRC). Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining buildings and grounds; lawn maintenance and landscaping; snow removal; assisting contractors; operating plow trucks, loaders, forklifts, and related equipment; laundry equipment repair; waste removal; and supporting special projects. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs. Requires High School Diploma or GED; 1+ year in facility maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC; background checks; location in Wisconsin; and valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Training shift begins 7am-3pm with subsequent 9am-5pm schedule, and every eighth weekend plus overtime as needed. CDL and other certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of work experience in Facility Maintenance, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical or HVAC
- Residence in Wisconsin upon application
- Background check/or pre-employment checks as required

- Applicants must have current residency in the State of Wisconsin upon application
- Must possess valid Wisconsin Driver’s License upon application and maintain throughout employment
