Job Summary
Maintenance Worker performs routine and extended preventive maintenance and repair on building infrastructure and mechanical equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include completing repairs and replacements via the Facilities work order system, coordinating with the Project Team, performing preventive maintenance (belts, fluids, filters, lubrication, seal replacement), repairing broken parts, completing daily/weekly/monthly checklists, using facility management software, identifying and correcting safety hazards, and participating in safety training. Requires practical experience with hand and power tools, physical labor, valid driver’s license, and adherence to Bethel Church’s beliefs. Hours are 10-25 hours per week; candidate must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and capable of meeting the physical requirements of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Previous maintenance experience
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to perform physical labor (climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods)
- Competent to follow oral and/or written instructions
- Ability to meet physical requirements described in attached documentation
- Belief in the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church
- Safety training participation as required by Facilities Department
- Knowledge of basic safety practices
