Job Summary
Performs a variety of general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment to include minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting. Must be able to perform some janitorial duties as assigned. Completes all Maintenance work assigned and responds to after hours building maintenance emergencies. Diagnoses mechanical problems, uses a range of tools, maintains tool inventory, moves and assists in transporting furniture, maintains campus security, inspects structures for repairs, reconfigures and sets up spaces, handles landscape tasks including mowing and irrigation, and assists with janitorial duties and floor/carpet/window cleaning as needed. Works under the supervision of the Pastor and coordinates with General Contractors as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to communicate with various levels of staff
