Job Summary
Diagnose equipment issues, execute scheduled maintenance, and perform corrective repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using hand and power tools. Install and reassemble machine parts, operate welding and cutting equipment, and handle basic plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed. Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery while interpreting manuals, work orders, and catalogs to source required parts. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely, report faulty operations, and adapt to changing production demands within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial systems
- Experience installing, servicing, and testing equipment and wiring
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and HVAC systems
- Strong math skills including fractions and unit conversions
- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Demonstrates initiative and sound problem-solving skills
- Works well within a team and responds professionally to feedback
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with structured preventive maintenance programs
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience identifying and sourcing parts and supplies from vendors
