Job Summary
Maintenance Worker at BRC's Casa de Los Vecinos facility in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior of the facility; performing repairs in carpentry, painting, plumbing and some electrical; conducting preventative maintenance of heating/cooling and domestic water systems; receiving and storing deliveries; lifting boxes and moving furniture; being on call for emergencies (may require early/late hours); serving as a member of the fire safety team and participating in fire drills. Hours are full-time, 37.5 per week, Tuesday through Saturday 10am–6:30pm. Qualifications require three years of building maintenance experience with trades experience; high school diploma or GED preferred; English communication ability; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; and preferred driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Three years experience in building maintenance; experience in the trades is required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Valid driver's license preferred.
