Job Summary
Maintenance Worker responsible for carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs; maintenance of light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, repairing doors and replacing ceiling/floor tiles; receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies; build/move furniture; assist in facility inspections and fire drills; assist with interior/exterior cleaning including trash removal, power washing and snow removal; 3+ years in building maintenance; trade-school certifications and HS diploma or GED preferred; full-time evening shift (Sat-Wed 3:00pm-11:30pm) at BRC locations in Manhattan, NY; PPE and safety measures provided; benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 403(b), tuition assistance, FSAs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years consecutive experience in building maintenance and/or experience in skills mentioned above is required
- Trade school/training certifications
- High School diploma or GED a plus
- Vaccination preferred but not required
