Job Summary
Maintenance Worker responsible for cleaning interior and exterior areas, performing repairs in carpentry, painting, plumbing and some electrical work; conduct preventative maintenance on heating/cooling and domestic water systems; receive/store deliveries; assist with lifting and moving equipment; on-call for emergencies including after-hours; participate in fire safety duties and drills; must work effectively in a team or independently; strong emphasis on safety and PPE usage; requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to read and follow instructions; minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience; English communication required; Fire Safety Director Certificate preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Three years experience in building maintenance and/or building trades
- Work experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or combination of training from an accredited trade school
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, crouch, sit, kneel, climb and crawl
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate in English
- Fire Safety Director Certificate is preferred
- Vaccination preferred but not required
