Job Summary
Maintenance Worker responsible for repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical; maintain and repair fixtures, doors, sheetrock/plastering, ceilings/floor tiles; receive and store deliveries; move furniture; assist with facility inspections and fire drills; help with cleaning and exterior maintenance such as trash removal, power washing and snow removal; position supports a large NYC nonprofit housing organization and offers benefits including health/dental, vacation, holidays and a pension.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years consecutive experience in building maintenance
- experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical
- Trade school/training certifications, High School diploma or GED a plus
