Job Summary
Respond to and complete work orders through the CMMS system while performing preventive maintenance across residential, healthcare, kitchen, HVAC, and community spaces. Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, appliance, and window-related issues, maintaining required Department of Health and Life Safety documentation. Learn fire alarm and call bell systems, conduct routine testing of life safety equipment, and assist with event setups, resident moves, and snow removal efforts. Complete tasks with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and customer service while managing multiple priorities independently. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience
- Basic knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices
- Comfortable using email and Windows-based applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- A positive, customer-focused approach when interacting with Residents and Team Members
- Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a collaborative team
