Job Summary
Conduct plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers, lint removal devices, and pit screen cleaners. Operate powered industrial forklifts, lifts, and shuttle trucks to relocate materials and assist with truck loading/unloading. Perform painting tasks, landscaping, snow removal, and fluid level checks while executing light equipment maintenance such as bulb replacement and cart repairs. Assist with production receiving activities and facility upkeep including pressure washing after appropriate training. Work Monday through Friday with periodic night and weekend overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
