Job Summary
Conduct plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers, lint removal devices, and pit/trench screen cleaning equipment. Perform miscellaneous painting tasks on facility grounds and operate powered industrial forklifts, lifts, and shuttle trucks to relocate materials and assist in truck loading/unloading. Execute various facilities upkeep duties including landscaping, snow removal, fluid level checks, light bulb replacement, and pressure washing after appropriate training. Assist with production receiving activities and perform light equipment maintenance such as cart cleaning and repair. Work a standard Monday through Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime, lifting up to 80 lbs. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and experience with basic hand and power tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
