Job Summary
Utilize equipment to perform plant cleaning operations, including floor scrubbing, lint and dust removal, and pit/trench screen cleaning. Operate powered industrial forklifts, lifts, and shuttle trucks to relocate materials and assist with loading/unloading deliveries. Perform miscellaneous painting tasks, landscaping, snow removal, and light equipment maintenance such as fluid checks and bulb replacement. Execute blowdowns and pressure washing after appropriate training. Work a standard Monday through Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
