Job Summary
Perform plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers, lint removal devices, and equipment for pit and trench screen cleaning. Execute miscellaneous painting tasks throughout the facility and grounds while operating powered industrial forklifts and lifts to relocate materials. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, production receiving, and various facilities upkeep including landscaping, snow removal, and fluid level checks. Conduct light equipment maintenance such as bulb replacement, ceiling tile repair, and pressure washing after appropriate training. Operate company shuttle or route trucks upon certification. Work a standard Monday through Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
