Job Summary
Conduct plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers, lint removal devices, and pit/trench screen cleaning equipment. Perform miscellaneous painting tasks on facility grounds and operate powered industrial forklifts to relocate materials. Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and production receiving activities while maintaining landscaping, snow removal, and general facilities upkeep. Execute light equipment maintenance including fluid checks, bulb replacements, and pressure washing after appropriate training. Operate company shuttle or route trucks upon certification. Work Monday through Friday with periodic night and weekend overtime, lifting up to 80 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
