Job Summary
Utilize equipment to perform plant cleaning operations, including floor scrubbing, lint and dust removal, outside rubbish removal, and pit/trench screen cleaning. Operate powered industrial forklifts and lifts to relocate materials, assist in loading and unloading trucks, and support production receiving activities. Perform various facility upkeep tasks such as landscaping, snow removal, painting, and light equipment maintenance like fluid checks and bulb replacement. Upon training, operate company vehicles including shuttle trucks. Work a standard Monday through Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime, lifting up to 80 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
