Job Summary
Operate powered industrial forklifts and lifts to relocate materials, perform plant cleaning with floor scrubbers and lint removal devices, and assist in loading/unloading trucks and production receiving. Execute miscellaneous painting tasks, landscaping, snow removal, and facility upkeep including light bulb replacement, ceiling tile repair, and pressure washing. Conduct trench screen cleaning and fluid level checks after appropriate training. Utilize equipment for outside rubbish removal and other duties as assigned by leadership. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 80 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
