Job Summary
Utilize equipment to perform plant cleaning operations including floor scrubbers, lint and dust removal, outside rubbish removal, and pit/trench screen cleaning. Operate powered industrial forklifts and lifts to relocate materials, assist in loading/unloading trucks, and support production receiving. Perform miscellaneous painting tasks, landscaping, snow removal, and light equipment maintenance such as fluid checks, bulb replacement, and ceiling tile swaps. Upon training, operate company vehicles like shuttle or route trucks. Work Monday through Friday with periodic night and weekend overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts) and other similar tools
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret procedures and instructions in English
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and managers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
