Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day maintenance operations for the apartment building, including landscaping, masonry, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Repair structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors while making units ready for occupancy. Execute appliance repairs, schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs, and manage grounds work like sweeping and light landscaping. Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage and coordinate special projects as directed. Maintain a professional manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and employees while utilizing necessary tools to complete all outlined tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Maintenance Tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete the tasks outlined above.
- One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
