Job Summary
Maintenance Trades Specialist III maintains and repairs complex facility systems at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, including building automation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems. Responsibilities include installing, replacing, and maintaining building systems; operating and monitoring utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems); troubleshooting with Building Automation Systems; reading Life Safety drawings and blueprints; performing preventive maintenance and technical repairs; and working shifts (1st/2nd) with on-call 24/7 coverage. Requires advanced technical skills, 4+ years of related experience, trade/tech training or certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of experience and additional Trade/Tech School credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or certification/license with CEUs
- Advanced training beyond High School including technical training
- 4+ Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations
