Job Summary

Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient tool crib while managing tool and supply inventory with accurate tracking. Inspect tools and equipment, maintain inspection logs, and coordinate external repairs or replacements as needed. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment to support maintenance operations. Review work orders and maintenance history forms for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding, including SAP repair codes, equipment IDs, and priority levels. Accurately enter maintenance feedback data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and identify discrepancies to escalate significant variances. Collaborate with Work Coordinators and Schedulers to resolve missing information and support timely work order closure. Continuously improve tool crib efficiency by optimizing space utilization and removing obsolete equipment. Track and update maintenance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in documenter meetings and contribute to process improvements and team alignment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations and reliability. Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry, review, and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance environments
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn maintenance and inventory systems
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-focused mindset
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead and maintain accurate records
  • Approachable and collaborative, with the ability to listen and incorporate feedback

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a chemical plant or knowledge of chemical hazards
  • Formal technical or trade school training or certifications
  • Experience working in a team-based or collaborative work environment
  • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise maintenance systems
  • Experience cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data for quality and accuracy
