Job Summary
Maintenance position focused on routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in machinery and HVAC/electrical components, maintaining accurate records (work orders, parts, time), coordinating with vendors/contractors for specialized tasks, and ensuring safety compliance. Requires reading technical manuals and schematics, physical stamina for manual labor, and a proactive approach to identify issues before they escalate. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and safety awareness are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance work including mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to maintenance tasks
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
