Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform independently technical maintenance repairs for plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, and appliances. Execute apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days, including installation of blinds, filter changes, and miscellaneous repairs. Manage common area upkeep such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and pressure washing. Monitor building exterior conditions for roof, siding, and shutter issues while maintaining an effective preventive maintenance program. Enter newly purchased tools into inventory and ensure all work areas remain clean and safe. This full-time career-track role reports directly to the Property Manager and offers a path to Maintenance Supervisor. On-call hours are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Proof of automobile insurance coverage
- EPA certification
- Effective time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change in a composed manner
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Maintenance experience & knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to communicate clearly with the residents

Desired Qualifications
