Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair production machines by performing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics on PCB electronics equipment such as conveyors, wave solder machines, and select solder machines. Install, maintain, and rebuild manufacturing equipment according to work orders, blueprints, and schematics while using hand and power tools, electric meters, and test gear. Diagnose problems, replace parts, and make adjustments to optimize production lines and assist with machine placement. Adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards while maintaining clean work areas. Comply with all safety precautions and work in an environment requiring basic safety measures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of working knowledge maintaining pneumatic, mechanical and industrial machinery
- Knowledge in manufacturing equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to read schematics
- Detail oriented
- Team player
- Must be able to complete projects under tight deadlines
- Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds
- Requires walking, bending, and standing with some climbing during the day
- Work in an environment that require basic safety precautions
- May be asked to work extended hours and weekends on occasion
