Job Summary
Complete resident work orders efficiently, responding promptly to maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent customer service. Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance work, and carpentry while conducting routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety issues. Maintain property cleanliness and functionality, prepare vacant units for new residents, and manage pools, spas, and related equipment. Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency responses, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and safety standards. Maintain inventory levels for tools and supplies. Work onsite in Tempe, AZ, earning $20–$21/hour.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to work in moderate noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- EPA type I and above certification preferred
- Pool maintenance certification, if required by local regulation preferred
- Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training
