Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role at Yuasa Battery focusing on maintaining and repairing machinery; responsibilities include working with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and PLC issues, applying knowledge of robotics, and welding experience as a plus. Requires clear communication across organization levels and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a 3-shift manufacturing environment; daily tasks will vary as machinery and facilities are serviced and improved. Location: Reading, PA (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and PLC issues
- Knowledge of robotics
- Experience with welding a plus
- Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
- Ability to work independently and among a team with little to no supervision
- High school diploma welcome
- 3-shift operation with opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shift
