Job Summary
Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs while keeping community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean. Complete all work in a timely manner, responding to after-hour emergency calls according to the on-call schedule and resolving leaks by reading water meters. Organize maintenance facilities and tools, aid in new home delivery and set-up, and report warranty work to management. Operate company vehicles, manage snow removal and de-icing, and participate in required team/safety meetings while adhering to OSHA standards. A valid driver's license is required, with a high school diploma preferred. Hourly rate ranges from $24 to $27.
Required Qualifications
- A valid in-state driver's license
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours per day
- Use of hands, including fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls in a repetitive motion
- Capacity to reach with arms and hands overhead and in front of your body safely
- Frequently required to be flexible by climbing, balancing, or occasionally crawling in confined spaces
- Ability to see clearly at both far and close distances as well as the capacity to adjust focus effectively
- Required to regularly push, pull, lift, or carry 50 lbs. Occasionally up to 85 lbs
- Proper handling of potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to climb ladders, occasionally up to an 8-foot ladder safely
- Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife
- Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience
- HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience
- OSHA certifications or completed trainings
