Job Summary
Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs while keeping community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and debris-free. Complete all work timely without sacrificing quality or safety standards, responding to after-hour emergency calls per the on-call schedule. Read water meters to identify and resolve leaks, organize tools and equipment, and aid in new home delivery and set-up. Deliver resident notices, participate in team and safety meetings, and uphold OSHA standards while operating company vehicles in compliance. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 85 lbs, climb ladders, and work 8-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A valid in-state driver's license
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours per day
- Use of hands, including fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls in a repetitive motion
- Capacity to reach with arms and hands overhead and in front of your body safely
- Frequently required to be flexible by climbing, balancing, or occasionally crawling in confined spaces
- Ability to see clearly at both far and close distances as well as the capacity to adjust focus effectively
- Required to regularly push, pull, lift, or carry 50 lbs. Occasionally up to 85 lbs
- Proper handling of potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to climb ladders, occasionally up to an 8-foot ladder safely
- Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife
- Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience
- HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience
- OSHA certifications or completed trainings
