Job Summary
Perform general repairs in and around the hotel through preventative maintenance and by responding quickly to guest and team requests. Execute tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry while maintaining fixtures according to schedule and recording all work in a log book. Replace worn parts, assist with moving furniture and supplies, clean internal and public areas, and operate snow removal equipment as needed. Service pool and spa areas in compliance with state and city regulations, manage key controls, and address guest complaints efficiently. Maintain professional image and relationships with internal and external customers while adhering to all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA and health codes. Work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- An ability to advance knowledge in these areas
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, proficiently
- Commitment to delivering high level customer service
- Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to hotel maintenance issues
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality
