Job Summary
Maintenance Technician performs repairs and maintenance across multiple trades to maintain machines, equipment, and structures on property; responsibilities include monitoring dispatch, completing work orders and routine maintenance, repairing appliances, conducting preventive maintenance, investigating and resolving issues, maintaining logs, keeping areas tidy, operating and maintaining equipment (e.g., golf carts), and following safety rules and company procedures. Requires High School Diploma or GED and two years of facility maintenance experience; HVAC Universal Certification preferred; hospitality experience preferred; must be able to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years’ experience in facility maintenance
- HVAC Universal Certification preferred
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of tools, materials, methods, and practices used in skilled and semi-skilled trade related to maintenance
- Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures; proficient in the practice
- Ability to operate heavy and light power equipment as needed
- Ability to write routine reports, keep logs, and correspondence
- Ability to comprehend and apply rules and regulations; including safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions
